**** edited out to protect the guilty.
Mr and Mrs Moore had damage to their roof caused by a storm and needed a quote and repairs tocarried out ASAP. They had been messed about by another spray foam company for over 2 weeks who did not keep their promise to come out ASAP and make emergency repairs. They gave up waiting and then sought us. Their next door neighbour had also had their roof spray sealed and bonded with polyurethane foam. We were dubious about the quality of the foam that their neighbour had had installed and took a small sample to be tested. We discovered that their neighbour and high open cell foam (cheap, poor quality and poor insulator) but the most important point was that it was not fire resistant foam and was extremely flammable; a fire bomb had been installed! We advised that the best course of action was to strip the foam out and we would re-spray with class 1 fire rated foam of 95% closed cell formulation. Everyone happy, including the insurance company!
