Installation address:

Install date:
Nominal foam depth installed:
mm
Area covered: Accessible areas only to the underside of the roof or other
designated areas.
Polyurethane Foam: This is to certify that the property above had installed on
the install date above a high performance, high density polyurethane foam to a
nominal depth as entered above. The foam thermal conductivity aged k value is rated at 0.026 W/m/K or better.
Fire Control: The foam installed is hereby certified to be Class 1 Fire Rated as
defined by British Standards BS 476 Part 7. This means that the product resists
the spread of flame and resists ignition.
Polyurethane Foam Structure: The foam is 95% closed cell in formulation. This
means that the product is semi permeable and allows the substrate to breath
whilst offering resistance to wind blown rain, snow and debris.
Thermal Insulation: The foam has a very low thermal conductivity when new of just k = 0.020
W/mK. A foam depth of 25/40/75/100/125/140 mm nominal provides a U value
typically of 0.95/0.54/0.30/0.25/0.20/0.16 W/m2K or better to concrete/
masonry/tile. The actual U value depends upon substrate material and composition
with the foam and these U values are provided as a guide only.
Condensation Control: The foam provides excellent surface condensation control
and provides a warm surface to resist condensation. The installation meets the
requirements of BS 5250: 'Control of Condensation in Buildings'. The foam meets
Part F of Building Regulations for condensation control by compliance with the
Approved Document F 'Alternative Approach' for non-ventilated roofs. Control
calculations made in accordance with BS 5250 clauses 9.1/3.
Guarantee Period: We hereby provide a full 25 year guarantee on the foam and the
installation workmanship from the install date above. The guarantee is
transferable between owners of the property during the guarantee period.
Guarantee Coverage: In the unlikely event that the foam fails and the substrate
is otherwise sound and dry, (i.e. the foam comes away, or disintegrates, or
breaks up or loses its bonding to the substrate) we will rectify at our cost
failure in the foam in this period. This failure can be in our installation
workmanship, the foam or both.
Limitations: The guarantee covers failure in the foam. The customer must notify us within 90 days of such failure. This guarantee does not cover defects or decay in the structure of the property, damage or disturbance of the foam during the course of other work or damage caused by UV radiation or storm damage. Whilst we can be called to make chargeable repairs for such incidents we would advise that you check that trades people carry suitable insurance before commencement of any work that may affect the foam. The finish and appearance of the foam is not guaranteed and it is not meant as a decorative product. Foam depth is nominal and is not guaranteed to an absolute depth. Whilst minimised as best as possible, overspray on beams, brickwork, rafters, purlins and adjoining materials may occur and no guarantee or warranty is given against this. This guarantee does not cover perils covered by typical buildings insurance and does not cover any consequential loss.
